Strike Gold! :D

We striked GOLD!!! :))) My frangipani tree is blooming again!

 

We were about to give up on this tree of mine. It wasn't flowering and was plagued with disease...Mom threatened to throw it away and even used a knife to hit the trunk. She finally resorted to adding Epsom salt and it worked like magic! Hahahhahaha....

 

Gory Gory Lunch *.*

Lin brought me to her office for Halloween lunch today. :) I've never gone for a gory feast...oooooooo....

Lin didn't want to be too over in her dress up. So I helped her create a spider & cobweb headpiece. And she finished off her look with a pumpkin handbag! :)))

We like Russell from UP! Who doesn't??? :D And Maggi in Donald Duck cape. Lol! :)

 

Oh and this preggy was goriness at its best. The foetus' arms were out of the womb and carrying a pumpkin. Eeeeekkkkk... *.*

 

Ted was here too. Yup all the way from Hollywood. :)

Pizza & Tarty Nite :)

I was so looking forward to tonite's outing as I'm so deprived of colleagues' presence. *.*. :) Thank you v much to Jamie & Rose for organizing our pizza & tarty nite!!! :D  The good thing about dining in biggy groups is we get to try more stuff!

 

Truffle fries & sweet potato sticks make great nibbles.

Smoked Veal with Onion Marmalade and Smoked Turkey Swiss pizzas

 

The nite didn't end with pizzas. You see, we 7 women had fab appetite. Plus we did not want to call it a day so early. We continued yaking over tea and tarts at Fruits Paradise.

Our conversation topic ranges from babies, kids, hubs, dog (Koka), helpers, weddings, house, travels etc etc etc...

 

Grypon Sangria tea, Rose tea and Peach Nectar tea...for the different palattes. :)

 

Strawberry tart, blue berries tart, mixed berries tart and banana & choc tart. :)

Darling Ivan Is Officially 1! :)

This little fella is ONE! Woohoo! :) Say hi to our nephew, Ivan!

 

Look at the candy station we prepared for the kids & kids at heart! :D

 

There're gummy worms, honey biscuits, chocolate biscuits, picola sticks, rainbow lollipops and kit kats with customized packaging. These are restricted products and parental consent is required here. ;)

Unwind at TWG with Mitsue-Chan

We unwind at TWG today. :) The wagyu burger which I craved for was sold out. :( So we settled for chicken beignets which were out of our imagination. We were expecting them to look like those at Brenda's Soul Food. *.* Pretty good nonetheless.

 

Scones, cream & gelee are a must order at TWG. :D

 

The day was too hot & humid to have any hot tea. Dulcet Rose for me & some really weird ice tea for Lin.

Lin's Korean colleague bought us some Cocohodo Walnut Pastry from Seoul. :) This cute little thing is filled with red bean paste & walnut bits. Woohoo...

Domani Day!

3 weeks flew past and SW is recovering from her brain surgery. Praise God for His mercy and grace. :) We brought SW to Domani as she craved for fish & chips. :D

 

It's Domani Day and we get to enjoy 25% off our meals! Brilliant. :)

 

SW never fails to amaze me with her superb appetite. Besides, fish & chips, she had veg lasangna. *.*

 

Alio olio with shrimps for moi & crabmeat with shrimps in tomato sauce linguine for Lin. :)

 

Dessert for us was a slice of Guanaja. :) And we finished our meal with chilled ice lemon tea. :)

Relish Saturday Cycling Trip

Thank God for holding up the weather and giving us a perfect day for cycling. :) We needed extra effort to cycle as it was very windy. It's riding against resistance. Oooooooo...

 

Spotted this robots mural under one of the bridges. How does it fit into the surrounding? We've no id. But they were pretty cute. So snap!

 

Next up, brunch at Relish! :D

 

Egg benedicts was a hot pick! ;) We prefer Canopy's though. :)
