Day 5: Cashless on the Last Day *.*

On the last morning in Tokyo, we called room service. :) Egg bene to kickstart our day. :D

Today's weather isn't fantastic but it ain't stopping us to somewhere cute. :)))

So here we are, at Shirohige's Cream Puff Factory :D

The dining area isn't big and they do not accept reservation. We were thus lucky to get a corner table. :)

We were happily seated but not for long. Lin realized we ran out of cash after placing our orders. *.* This place accepts cash only. :(((

If I knew we didn't have cash....I would have stopped Lin from ordering these pasta... :@

We could have shared the drinks too. :)))

But these cuties are a definite must order. :)))

Mitsue couldn't come save us cos the cafe is too far from the city centre. In the end, we plastered on lots of layers of skin and called our Japanese housing agent for help! :))) PAISEH to the MAX! *.*

It was house hunting after that. :)))

Dinner was simple and delicious at Kayanoya Midtown. :)

Dinner was delightful but I needed to satisfy my gyoza and ramen cravings. Hence second round of dinner at Haneda Airport. We boarded our flight with full bellies. :)))

Day 4: Finally, A Rather Clear Day in Tokyo :D

After returning from Hakone, we checked in Candeo Hotel Tokyo Roppongi which Lin found the rooms too small and had us checked out and checked into Ritz-Carlton instead (Grand Hyatt was fully booked by then). The background story was she had 7 cartons of stuff plus our luggages....

I was intrigued by the flowers at Ritz Carlton. :)))

The view from our room is gorgeous! :D

The room was eh....huge but spartan.... *.*

The highlight for me today is checking out the Peanuts Cafe. :D

Breakfast was a heavy one. Lol! A stroll down Meguro to walk away our brekkie. :)

For lunch, we went round looking for Zuicho :)))

We came all the way for this! Totally worth every effort. This was one of the best Katsu-don we have eaten. :D

I love visiting flower shops. This afternoon we are at The Little Flowers Shop. :D

Desserts before dinner... when we are on vacay, sequence doesn't matter anymore. :) Lin loves creme brulee and when I found comcrepe that sells creme brulee crepes, I just gotta bring her there! :D

Next stop was Anywhere Door. :D It's famed for its choc-covered waffle shots.

I had a matcha shot. :D

My first choice was actually cotton candy ice cream BUT it's SOLD OUT..... :(

As for dinner, we went light at Dashizuke En :)))

After a long day, nothing beats a bowl of cooked rice with hot tea poured over it. :) This is comfort at its best. ;)

Nite nite Tokyo. :)
