Lin & I had been so busy, we actually forgot about Koka's b'day. *.* Hence only a mini celebration this year. 

A fruity birthday tart from Fruit Paradise and happy birthday song was all it needed to get Koka really thrilled. :)))

元宵 + Birthday + House Cooling Party

We celebrated 元宵 + birthday + house cooling (we will moving to our new place in another 2 months time) with our maternal family this evening at our humble residence. :) And we wanted Grace to experience CNY! :D She had dengue on the 1st day of lunar new year and was admitted to CDC. *.*

The turnout was fantastic! :) I do love my family v much! ;)

Koka was sulking the whole nite. It was only much later in the nite that mom realized we forgotten to feed her...

We got this really cute pull-along wagon from The Better Toy Store for a client. It's so cute we gotta put Koka & her toys in it for some pics! ;)

Koka's soft toys collection has grown exponentially over the years. Most of them are given by friends, hand-me-down from our childhood or freebies.

Sheau Wen treated Koka, Lin & I to Melba for brunch today! :) Love the rustic dinning ambience. :D

Heartache...

Our hearts ached today...cos the vet, Sook Keng confirmed Koka has partially torn her ligament. :( She has to go for a weekly injection to repair her joint over a 4 week course. :((( Prayfully, it will heal and she needs not go for a surgery. To restrict her movement, she will have the bandage on for a week.

Koka's B'day at Uncle Leong

Koka's second round of b'day celebration was at Uncle Leong with Mom, Beanie, Lidia and the both of us. Naturally we parked her outside, away from the other patrons. ;)

 

We had Claypot Crab Bee Hoon. :) It was nice but wasn't as flavourful as Melben's.

 

The Creamy Butter Crab was awesome! :) Dipping the deep fried buns into the creamy gravy is sinfully delish! :D

 

 I don't fancy the Gold Coast Prawns though...Beanie & Lin enjoyed them...

 

In addition, we tried the Mini Wok Beancurd, Nescafe pork ribs and assorted veg in crispy basket.

 

Happy B'day BIG Sister! :D (Koka is now older than Lin & moi! 5 dog years = 35 human years?)

Celebrating Yahui's B'day in the Rain

Duh...it's a rainy day...just when we wanna celebrate Yahui's b'day the healthy way...cycling in Punggol. :(  That's not gonna dampen our spirit though! A pandan b'day tart for Yahui dearest which we shared in the car. :) Loving it cos it's ain't to sweet.

Should we proceed as plan to cycle? Yes, no, yes, no, and yes...

Who cares about the drizzle eh? Untill it poured. *.* We had to take shelter! Mr Sun took a day off and the only sunlight we had was from the sunny side-up in our fried bee hoon. Let's eat!

The rain didnt't seem to be stopping. We braved it back to our car and ended with aaaaaaaaaa choooooooo! A super wet but memorable b'day celebration for Yahui. :) Hope she likes it nonetheless. ;)
