A Big Family Affair

Wedding is a BIG family affair for us! Justin & Vivien tied the knot and the Chinese ceremony was held this afternoon. :)

 

It involved the traditional tea ceremony,

 

an ultra traditional wedding cake which resembles 1970s...

 

a traditional lunch menu,

 

all my cousins, except Yayi who's stuck in Berlin...and Benny's at a soccer session???

 

and all the seniors.

 

The emcee for the wedding luncheon broke his tooth and so Lin & I had to take over at the very last minute. *.* Lin did the English while I struggled through in Mandarin. Since we were given the microphones, we took the liberty to change the ending script with God's words for the couple. :)

 

1 Corinthians 13:4-8

⁴ Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. ⁵ It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. ⁶ Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. ⁷ It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Our clan members. :) Each one of us are like a piece of jigsaw puzzle. We are different in many ways. But God takes every piece to form a complete picture, a family. :) What a blessing indeed to be call His children! :)
