Day 6: Shanghainese Fare at Old Jesse (老吉士)

Poor Vicky had to work on a Sat to compensate for the dumpling festival holiday the following week. We picked her up from her workplace to do dinner at Old Jesse. :) There was a queue despite the drizzle. 

The restaurant is really tiny and we were given a table on the upper floor. :)

Good stuff is worth waiting for! :) 

Fresh shrimps and my fav crabmeat fen pi (蟹肉粉皮) :)

Braised pork belly & eggs (红烧肉)

Fried Spring Onion Cod Fish (this need to be pre-ordered)

Ji Mao Cai and White Chives Eggs

The watermelons completed our dinner at Old Jesse

But we ain't calling it a day. Off to shopping for DVDs and a good foot reflexology. :D
