Day 2 - Takayama: More Than Just An Alley of Old Private Houses :D

Takayama is such a quaint and laid back town. :) It's a place to slow down one's pace and to enjoy it's rich culture & heritage.

This alley of old private houses (Sanmachi Suji) has been converted to cafes and shops selling traditional produce, sakes and souvenirs.

Danger zone for shopaholic! *.*

I'm into wooden toys collection and this little red riding hood :) I went back looking for it on the second day in Takayama and it was fated to be mine! :)

The penguins are so cute they deserve a pic! :)

Snow flakes kept falling on our heads... :)

My fav afternoon tea spot. We are here everyday! :)))

An ice cream a day keeps me happy everyday! :)

Ice cream again on our third day in Takayama. :)

Mitsue just had to try Takayama's famous beef sushi! :)

And it was really good, according to Mitsue! :)))

There's so much to discover at Takayama. But we seemed to be stucked in the alley. Help!:)))
