Good morning! Lin's still working away on our 3rd day in Seoul. *.*
Hm...L7's breakfast is the same everyday. :/ Think we are just going out for breakfasts for the rest of our stay in Seoul.
Issac is happy with just bananas, milk & muffins. :D
Wendy raved and craved for baked custard mandus from Myeondong station. So must try! :D
We gotta wait abit as these custard babies are baked on the spot. :)
Piping hot corn shaped custard mandus ready to be devoured. :)))
See the glooey custard? They are best eaten hot. :D
The child in me is actually quite excited today as we are going to check out the Line store at Itaewon. :D
Once we stepped in, Tina, Wendy, Lin & I went in different directions, snapping away like nobody's business. :)))
Frankly I need to cover my eyes. The fear in buying rubbish is real. Lol. :)))
Since we are at Line Friends Cafe, we gotta eat something. It's only sensible. :D
Mid morning break. ;)
I ended up with only 3 items from the Line store. ;)
Angie and Issac joined us towards the end of our Line "tour". :))) And took a pic to show "been there, done that".
Next stop saw us at Garosu-Gil. :) We took the train to Sinsa Station and upon stepping out, Davich Optical Store (다비치안경체인) was just right in front of us. We heard it's cheaper to do prescription glasses at reasonable quality in Korea. Angie & I tried it out. :D Pardon for the lack of pic becos we were too engrossed in selecting our preferred frames. :))) After selecting our frames, our eyes were given complimentary eye tests and our glasses were then made in about 20 mins. :)
Here's a snapshot of the store's banner I took off their website. :)
Took five at Coffeesmith. Our bodies are more inclined to hibernate in Decembers... :)))
The coffee here is underwhelming and it showed on Tina's face. :)))
The main purpose of coming to Sinsa-dong was to check out Jaju. :))) We didn't buy as much as we like to though, scoring only some Christmas decorations for our nest. :)
Tonite's dinner will be a rather new experience for us at Spicy de Vila. :)
Early diners beat the crowd. ;)
Tonite's dinner is very interactive. We have to design our own topokki. :D Topokki is actually a popular Korean street food. It's like hotpot just that there isn't soup but gravy.
We opted for the traditional toppoki sauce over the fusion ones. I guessed we wanted a taste of Korea. :))) For the toppings, we just ordered away what our hearts fancy. :)
A compulsory pic before we make a mess of the food before us. :)
Ebi tempura was one of the sides we ordered. :)
The dumplings I make wins hands down. These were really sad. :(
Our maiden topokki is almost ready! Pic first!!! :D
Honestly it looked way better than it tasted. It was really spicy and a tad too sweet for my liking. *.*
Fishing for treasure. :)))
We're happy to try out something new and to discover we ain't topokki fans. :D
A snowman treat for our little man who had been so accommodating. :D
