90 Years of Blessings & Counting :)

Grandmom turns 90! 90 years of blessings! Thank you God! Thank you Father. After weeks of careful & secretive preparation, and managing the senior folks, the garden party at Grandmom's residence finally became a reality! :) ASL as we fondly call Grandmom's residence is transformed. :)

My team and I used Holland roses & alstromeria, Kenya roses, bubbles, chrysanthemum balls, salal leaves & ruscus to create the table centrepieces. We also custom made a backdrop with the Chinese word "Longevity" & rented tiffany chairs in gold for this celebration. :) 

To enhance the ambience, big uncle helped us installed the fairy lights. :D

Grandmom wasn't aware the celebration was going to be at home. She wasn't aware we invited her cousins, her siblings' children and our granddad's family. 

Her reaction when she came home from the office was priceless! :D She couldn't stop praising God for the abundant blessings He has bestowed upon her. :)

Second uncle would lead us in the opening prayer while Alex lead us in the closing prayers. Behind the scene, Charlotte helped Bak Bak to translate his prayers into Chinese. 

Grandmom was very radiant. She was truly overjoyed to see familiar faces. :) 

Uncle Mike & Kim flew in from Hong Kong for the celebration. :)

Grandmom & I. Grandmom supports me in whatever I do, and most importantly she always remember us in her prayers. :) Her prayer list is very long because she has so many children, grandchildren and great-grand children. :) Grandmom isn't biased towards her grandchildren. She loves us all the same.

While we savor the food, we were also entertained by Rita's ballad of oldies and a video clip about grandmom put togther by Yayi. :) The moving clip chronicles her life from Siam to Singapore.

Shawn collected this huge longevity bun & two tier birthday cake for us. This longevity bun resembles grandmom. :)))

Cos it birth to many smaller ones. :)))

And finally the two tier birthday cakes. :) Shawn was crawling on the road because of this cake! :)))

We praise and thank God for His gracious love for grandmom & this family. :) May He continue to watch over us & bless us abundantly.
