And we got a table at Chai Men Fan Er (柴门饭儿). :D
Something to warm the tummies :)
Now...what about dieting... :)))
Line is just round the corner and we hopped over for some pics with our friends. :D
We weren't expecting an autumn scene in December. :)
Du Fu Cottage is our last to visit spot in Chengdu. This national heritage site was built in honour of a Tang Dynasty poet, Du Fu. It has received many distinguished world leaders since its establishment.
In the year of 759, there was extreme poverty and social unrest, compelling Du Fu to move to the outskirts of Chengdu from Gansu. He built a thatched hut and stayed there for nearly 4 years. The period in the dilapidated hut was the peak of Du Fu's creativity. He composed more than 240 poems, reflecting upon the misery of the people during this turbulent era.
Grandmom loves tradtional pastries. So we stopped by Gong Ting Bakery to get some freshly baked ones. :)
One of our all time fav chain restaurants in China is Bellagio. :))) All the dishes hit the right note. :D
We still had Haagen Dazs before heading to the airport! :D
