We woke up to a clear blue day in Barcelona. This morning we made a trip to Tibidabo. :) Sagrat Cor Church was spectacular with the statue of Jesus on top of the church.
The lower sanctuary.
The upper sanctuary.
There's an amusement park on Tibidabo. For those who love theme parks, check it out! :)
Possibly one of the better meals we had in Barcelona was at Picnic! Finally something my palette was happy with. :)))
Thirsty...
Pulled pork with poached egg on toast :)
Egg Benedict
These gorgeous tarts completed our brunch for today! :D
Live music everywhere we go :)
With full bellies, we strolled to Cathedral of the Holy Cross and Saint Eulalia, also known was Barcelona Cathedral. :) Among its attractions are the 13 geese which are kept at the secluded Gothic cloister, which has a garden and a pond. This is the Fountain or Well of the Geese. Can't wait to meet them! :D
This is a beautiful cathedral. *.*
Come come, let's count the geese. :)
There's always time for shopping! :D
It's paella for dinner at 7 Portes! :)
7 Portes is another restaurant with a long history.
A row of herbs welcomed us at the reception. :)))
Coke to beat the heat!
Bread and Spanish olive oil! :)
I can't take anymore buniyos d espinacs...*.*
Soup
Fideula fideula fideula...baked bee hoon? :)))
Why so little seafood in this Paella Parellada? :(
7 Portes was underwhelming. We couldn't care for dessert after our mains. Haiz...one more day of Spanish food for me...
