Day 6: Saturday in London :)

Urgggh...woke up to this grey sky... *.* Anyway shall walk to Granger & Co for a perk-me-up breakfast.

I was given a counter seat as I was on my own this morning. 

Breakfast for me was scrambled egg and sourdough toast.... :)

I was dilly dallying till I realized I was running late... *.*

We went shopping at Anthropologie :D

Everything screams buy me. :))) I was pretty restrained, buying only a huge summer plate for bbqing on our rooftop garden, two smaller ceramic plates for when I need them and a floral book. ;)

Off to our next destination. :D

We went to Liberty on Great Marlborough Street in the West End of London. The flower shop at the entrance caught me at my tracks. :)))

And I love this bespoke barber chair at Blink Brow Bar, inside Liberty! :D There's so much character eh? :)))

The girls wanted meat and we ended up at Angus Steakhouse for lunch. Bad choice. *.* But the company was good. :)

The steak was over cooked. *.*

The rib was better than the steak...

And Mac & cheese was the best item at Angus Steakhouse. Period....:)))

It's funny how quickly the weather changes in London. The sky was clear and blue when we arrived at Kew Gardens. :) If weather permits, I would suggest visiting it in the morning though. 1, it wouldn't be too hot and 2, there are guided tours in the morning.

The sun is intense I could hardly open my eyes... *.*

Next to the Palm House is the Waterlily House. It is the hottest and most humid part in Kew Gardens! Imagine going into a sauna. :)))

The first thing we had when we got out of Waterlily House? ICE CREAM!!! :D

One of the must eat in London has gotta be fish & chips? No? :))) Anyway we headed to Mayfair Chippy for some classic British fish & chips. :D

It was full house at Mayfair Chippy and we grabbed the last table outdoor. :)))

Greens for Catherine's friend. :))) We were shocked by the portion of sourdough bread that came with it. :)))

The three of us shared a lobster macaroni cheese...yumz...

And of course Haddock fish & chips. ;)))

The face of satisfaction... :D
