大年初六 - Kim's Lunar New Year Treat

The weather was pretty amazing for alfresco dining today. :) Kim treated SW & I to lunch at Rakuzen at Millenia Walk. This place is ideal for friends who aren't very mobile. We parked our cars right beside the restaurant  and SW just had to manage one step and she was in the restaurant. Perfect! :D

SW's regaining her appetite and was able to finish more than half of the saba with brown rice set! :)

Kim had an eel with brown rice set. :)

Both set lunches came with chawamushi, which SW & Kim passed to me. SW can't take any prawns due to the surgery and Kim's allergic to them. So they became my gains! :)))

I had ebiten rolls (the prawns were so fresh & succulent) and

fire beef. The beef slices were seared using a blow torch. They were very tender and the ponzu dip further enhanced their flavour. :)
