Day 8: Eat Away in Chengdu... :)

Well, I'm craving for dumplings and noodles. :) So here we are at Long Chao Shou (龙抄手). 

Dumplings dumplings come to meeeee...

Pauline's love for bubble tea this trip rubbed off me. :D Check out the UNREASONABLE Bubble Tea Shop (a direct translation from its Chinese name - 不讲道理)! 

Everyone queued, we queued too! :D We had no idea what they were queuing for though! :)))

Ahhhhh a pastry shop. Apparently 百香林西点sells freshly baked pastries and they have presence in many cities in China.

It was only sensible to get 4 bags of pastries after queuing for so long... ;)

This was my fav out of the lot. :)

I couldn't resist entering a flower shop. :) Every bloom screamed pretty! What better way to end this post with blooms and more blooms. :)))

Day 7: Wide & Narrow Alleys (宽咋巷子) to Fit All Sizes... :)

This  morning we checked out Wide & Narrow Alleys (宽咋巷子). The history of this place dated back to the Qing Dynasty (1644 - 1911 AD). At that time, the area was a city within the Chengdu city called Mancheng City or Shaocheng City, where the court quartered troops. 

We shopped a little, lunched here and also stumbled upon a surprisingly good ice cream shop. :D
