Day 2: Off to the Farmers' Market - Marche Saxe-Breteuil :D

This morning we got up early to go to Marche Saxe-Breteuil. :D As you can see, we got distracted along the way by this grand old lady. :)

We are skipping breakfast to save some tummy space for light bites at the market instead :)))

Marche Saxe-Breteuil (Farmers' Market).

The best pear juice ever. :)

We need to get prawns, chicken and eggs too. :)

All the vegs look so gooooood :D

The aroma of freshly baked tarts...

They go so well with freshly brewed coffee :D

We bought some coffee chocolates too. ;)

I was so tempted to get some fresh flowers too. :)))

With our morning market loots, we headed home to cook laksa! :D

Cheers to an awesome homecooked meal in Paris! :D

Day 4: Winding Down... *.*

This afternoon we visited Wagner, Helen and their team at LFS.

They welcomed us with juices & cakes. These were much appreciated as we were exhausted from all the hype and excitement at the Chelsea Flower Show. :)))

When resting = playing with hps. :)))

I broke away from the group this evening to do dinner with Gwendel. She always raves about La Petite Maison, a restaurant that serves upscale French Mediterranean cuisine. I thought I had a long day but she had it worse! :))) This is my first proper sit down meal of the day! :))) My poor feet, you have worked hard today.

These bread are gorgeous! I'm sure hungry... :)))

For Hors D'oeuvres we had a Poulpe Finement Tranché « Natalya (thinly sliced octopus in lemon oil) which was extremely good. :D

The waiter recommended us to try Beignets (deep fried courgette flowers and sage with anchovies). Best shared by maybe another 2 others?

For Les Plats, we shared Côte de Veau Grillée (grilled veal chop).

There isn't any other way to end our dinner or day but with something sweet. :) Tarte Fine, thin crust apple tart with vanilla ice cream. That's the full stop to my Day 4 in London.
