Day 1: To the Hometown of the Giant Pandas :)

Finally embarking on our first trip together with Pauline and Annie! :) The destination? Chengdu, hometown of the giant pandas. :D

This calls for a celebration. :) We headed straight to Chen Mapo Tofu (陈麻婆豆腐) for traditional Sichuanese fare. :D It's good to be early as this restaurant does not take reservation.

The famous mapo tofu. Even though I was craving for mapo tofu... this isn't the taste I'm used to. :( We weren't into the other dishes too.

A bad meal can be easily made up with ICE CREAM!!! :D Haagen Dazs is really affordable in China. :))) We are coming here everynite. ;)

Happiness is indulging in ice creams. :D

We are now satisfied to head "home" to catch our beauty sleep...zzz...

Day 10: Drawing to a Close...

This morning we made a trip to John Lewis, followed by Selfridge and Co. :)

When there's such a gorgeous and Instagram worthy restaurant at Selfridges, we just gotta do lunch here. :))) Aubaine has a ceiling full of wisteria. :D

Here's what we had amongst the four of us. :)

We had a floral session with Jamie of Jamie Aston this afternoon. :) The flowers he had in the store were stunning. :)

Hahahahah....no, I'm not the recipient of this fabulous bouquet! :))) Someone, please give me a bouquet of blooms!

What better way to reward ourselves than having an ice cream. Flower related still... :D

We were going to Rabbit for dinner but we got distracted by Amorino ice cream, across the street. :))) So it was ice cream before dinner.

The Shed was Gladwin brothers' first restaurant and Rabbit was their second restaurant. We love the food at both restaurants. :)

After dinner, we strolled down Elizabeth Street. :)

Can't believe our time in London is drawing to a close...Savouring my last evening in London...
