Today we accompanied Sheau Wen for the Venus Run. :) Lin & I had never participated in such runs before!!! It was our maiden 5km run. :D
Because of such fabulous company, the 5km run wasn't that daunting after all. :D Thank you Sheau Wen, Ling Lee & Ayu for roping us in! :)
Because of last minutes floral orders, our dinner became supper. :)))
Apologies to Tina. It was meant to be her b'day dinner. *.* She chose The Coastal Settlement, a casual dining place admist lush greenery.
At 9.30pm, we were all too ready to dig in...

The attentive service was commendable. But don't expect too much of the food and the desserts were below average.
For the same ambience, I would go to PS Cafe or the Green Door at Demphsey.
Side track a little. I tried out a borrowed lens from SONY, the SEL50F2.8. I'm loving it. :) That, will be my new toy next week, from Lin with love. ;)

Lin, Rach & I were at Vivo City this evening to search for some stuff. However we were too famished to move. We stumbled upon LeNu Taiwanese Beef Noodle Bar & had beef noodles for dinner. :)
Some greens are always welcome in any meaty meal. The tang-o was however, a tad salty...
We had braised beef brisket noodles. There were 3 types of noodles to choose from: thin, broad & hor fun. We opted for the broad noodles. The texture was springy. :)
The beef was unfortunately not tender enough.
The broth was also on the sweet side & though the store claimed no MSG was used, we felt thirsty after consuming it. Perhaps due to high salt content?
Oh...I miss home cook Taiwanese beef noodles... *.* LeNu's one is still far from it.

After delivering some flowers to a client's house with Racheal, I decided to swing into Jones the Grocer at Dempsey for a quick brekkie with her. She showed up for work despite being on birthday leave because she couldn't bear the thought of me doing the work alone. :))) Sweet eh?
Because of that, she deserved a latte. I actually owed her a number of cuppa. And what better time to "pay my debt". It's her birthday!
We shared an egg bene too. :)

One of our tenants, Leticia is leaving Singapore tomorrow and embarking on another exciting adventure. :) We threw her a mini farewell party on our rooftop garden. :)
Some local delights would be good as it will be some time before Leticia is able to savor them again. :)

Our rooftop garden is the most under utilized area in the whole house. So this evening we did bbq there. :)
Hoa oversaw the construction of this lighted beaded coffee table & Tina lugged it all the way back from HCM. :))) Loving it! :)

Dolcetto by Basilico's chocolate cake was the surprise gift from TG. :) It came in handy as I was clueless where to get our birthday cake from.
