Day 3: Awesome Dinner at Byeokje Galbi 벽제갈비

Woohoo! We had dinner at Byeokje Galbi!  Byeokje Galbi is a highly rated restaurant by The Wall Street Journal and we had to check it out ourselves! ;) The verdict? Love, love, love...

Lin & Tina took charge of ordering. ;)

As in all Korean restaurants, we were served an array of side dishes. :)

And here're our prized dishes, Hanusaenggalbi (premium Korean beef short ribs) and Yangnyeom-galbi (barbecued beef ribs with seasoned soy sauce).

The beef are from cows raised on a Pocheon farm under the direct management of the restaurant and is richly tender and utterly delicious.

The beef were cooked over charcoal.

Our friendly server assisted us in cooking these gorgeous beef. :)

We looked forward to our first bite...

Just a little salt is required to enhance the flavour of the beef. Fingers & toes up! :D

For Yangnyeom-galbi (barbecued beef ribs with seasoned soy sauce), we just ate them on its own. No salt is required.

To top off the dinner, we had Pyeongyang-naengmyeon (Pyeongyang style buckwheat noodles). It's a bowl of refreshing chilled noodles. :D

Finally, ume tea and melon to end the fabulous dinner. Bliss... :)

We would definitely come back to Byeokje Galbi the next time we visit Seoul. :)

Now, we just had to walk off the dinner at Dongdaemun.
