Sunday Breakfast at Brenda's French Soul Food

We chose to do a slow Sunday and started our day at Brenda's French Soul Food. We made an effort to be there early, but there was already a queue...

We like the use of tin cans & metal buckets to hold cutlery & sauces. :)

Brenda's has gotten good review for its crawfish beignets and we gotta try. :) Wish Crystal was here! The beignets came in three! Good stuff has to be shared!

The fillings consisted of crawfish, spiced with cayenne, scallions and cheddar. Lovely but was too much for just the two of us. *.*

We were stuffed by the 3 beignets. So we couldn't enjoy the egg benedict as much as we would like to. Brenda's provides egg benedicts with a twist. You may choose to be conservative by having your egg bene with ham or be a little more adventurous by having them with fried catfish or fried chicken. We opted to have ours with fried chicken. :D

Brenda's more suited for a company of 3 or more. It's a challenging task for Lin & myself to finish up eveything. ;) We'll bring Crystal along next time.
