We were supposed to be in Hangzhou tonight. However unforeseen work circumstances resulted in the postponement of our road trip to June. *.* Just to be "in China" mood, Ann, Tina & the both of us did dinner at Hai Di Lao. :)

For our soup bases for the hotpot, we opted for comforting chicken soup and tomato soup. We kicked off our meal with chicken soup & lots of scallions.

We polished up our dinner with chewy deep fried pumpkin cakes,
