Day 2: Tuesday in Seoul with Our Favourite People :)

Do you enjoy hotel's breakfast? This morning breakfast was at L7 Myeongdong's cafe, Villa de Charlotte. :)

My pick for a Tuesday morning. :)

The breakfast was mediocre...we only had one serving. Just as well as we are having mandus shortly!!! :D

It's not funny to be looking for direction in the cold. *.* Google map doesn't work in Korea. Why oh why??? Tina's on her way to do her hair whilst Wendy, Lin & I are gonna have mandus. We dropped into Think Coffee for some warmth. :)))

The hot chocs were too sweet...but they made good hand warmers. :)))

Cheery snowman, you warm our hearts. :D

Lin had wanted to beat the lunch crowd and aimed to reach Hwangsaengga Kalguksu by 11am. We arrived only at 11.30am. :))) Thank goodness there wasn't a queue yet! :D

It's our second time here and I'm still loving their mandus. :) They are more delish when shared with our loved ones. ;)

Drum rolling....plump & juicy dumplings, come to us... :)

Lin has a tendency to over order and she did it again! *.* Angie & Issac, we need you!!!

The savory pancakes were delightful too. :) They consisted of pancakes, fish and ladyfingers with meat.

Then there was mandu hotpot with noodles! :)))

When freshest ingredients are used... :)

We lost count on the number of mandus each of us had. :)))

The sense of relief when Angie & Issac showed up is indescribable! :D

So much for being full. There's always room for dessert. :D Plus we needed to bribe the little man. ;) On a side note, today's such a gorgeous blue day. :)

Loving the soft caress of the sunrays on a cold day. :) This would have been a perfect group pic if Tina was around...she's at the salon. Pic taken from Wendy's hp. ;)

This trip means alot to us. It's a celebratory trip for Wendy. :) We celebrate her bravery, courage & resilience in battling her illness. :D  Don't you agree she radiates? :)))

Cold day but we still wanna have ice cream. :)))

The chocolate cake looks better than it tasted.

The little man wants a bite but with so many ladies, hohoho, baby you gotta wait... :D

Ice creams & coffee....poor Issac. :))) Gotta wait again. :)))

We trained Issac to be our photographer. Not bad! Heads & limbs all in. :D

And a shot with our little man. :)

If only every Tuesday is like today... :)

We'll just go wherever our feet take us. :)

And here we are at Osulloc. :)

Osulloc's green tea soft ice cream stole our hearts. The flavor is intense. :D Green tea lovers wouldn't want to give this a miss. ;)

Wendy went for Green Tea O Fredo. :D

I'm easily pleased. A good soft serve ice cream makes me a happy gal. ;D

This green tea roll cake is a big hit! The roll is soft & moist, and the vanilla mascarpone cheese cream is light.

Issac finished the bulk of the green tea roll. This is how much he loves it. :D

Daddy's gonna be jealous. :)))

A bit of retail therapy for us. :)))

We fell prey to cuteness. :)))

One of my Ssamziegil purchases :)))

The newly weds have arrived in Seoul & would be joining us for dinner. :D

When was the last time we travelled with Shawn...Can't really describe how I'm feeling now. It feels so surreal to see our little cousin getting married and here we are now in Seoul with him & his wife. :)))) Angie couldn't look at Shawn in his eyes. To her, he was the 5 year old she knew. Lol! :D

Some Samgyetang (Korean ginseng chicken soup) in such chilly weather will do us good. ;) It supposedly helps boost our energy and the immune system.

Tosokchon's samgyetang is made with a young chicken, stuffed with glutinous rice, peeled chestnuts, walnuts, jujubes, pumpkin seeds, ginko, black sesame, sunflower seeds, garlic, red dates and some other special/secret ingredients.

Our dear Angie craves for rotisserie chicken because she saw them roasting in the oven at the restaurant's entrance. :D

The lady gets what she wants! ;)

We had seafood & green onion pancakes too. :D

Another nite to be thankful for. Thankful for being indoor with proper heating. Thankful for being able to have a hot & hearty meal with our favorite people. :) Out in the street, a group of Koreans were still protesting...

Calling it a nite for us... :)
