Day 3: Finger Licking Good at Wakadori Jidai Naruto Fried Chicken
The storm became a drizzle, allowing us to head to Wakadori Jidai Naruto Fried Chicken. Apparently this place is Otaru's treasure.
My cousin who eats fried chicken with all her 10 fingers. They taste better this way. :) Fingers licking good. :)))

Day 4: Stuffed to My Forehead at Yoshikawa Tempura :)))
Oh oh oh...poor feet...please take us to Yoshikawa Tempura. :O Taking in the sights of Kyoto streets as we figured our way to dinner. :)
The walk was longer than expected. We learned a lesson. When Google maps say 10 mins, it usually mean 20 mins in reality. :(
Yoshikawa Tempura's is a small outfit with only 11 seats, and reservation is required.
Lin had pre-ordered Chidori set for us. All we needed to do was sit back & savour. :)
I'm not an appetiser or starter person. Often I prefer to jump to the mains. :) But in Japan, there is a certain order we need to adhere to. :))) So be patient. :)
Ebi tempura at its freshest. :D
I love flowers but eating them is a different story altogether. :))) It felt weird chewing such a big piece of flower.
Chestnut tempura :) Crunchy chunk. :)))
Fish tempura :)
Side dishes of silver fish. :)))
Daikon tempura
Salt to compliment the eel tempura :)
Lotus tempura. Do not be fooled by these morsel pieces. By now, I had to ask the chef if this was the last item in the set. :((( It wasn't! Save me....
Sweet potato and prawn tempura. :))) My two fav items but not when I'm stuffed to my forehed. :(
And the finale was rice with tea. :) But eh... why are there tempura stuff in it too... :(
Pat on the shoulder for completing our meals. I did however shoved some items to Beanie when the chef wasn't looking. :)))
We adjourned to the adjacent room for desserts! :O
Sorbet for me anytime! :) Strawberry sorbet refreshed our palate & ease the stuffiness. :)))

Day 4: Traditional Japanese Cuisine, Hello Kitty Style
The highlight of the afternoon was to do lunch at Tea House Hello Kitty Saryo. It is close to Kiyomizu-dera & we could soak in the beauty of this place once more. :)
I'm looking forward to savouring traditional Japanese Cuisine Hello Kitty-style. :)))
The four of us had the same set. This saved my effort on pic taking. :))) We had soba & tempura sets. :D Our Hello Kitty gastronomy began with tofu starters. :)
The soba was fresh and the texture was just right. We like it chilled and hot. :)
Side dishes too cute to be eaten. :)
Every tempura piece was yum.
There are 3 huge Hello Kitty dolls in the cafe and they go round every table taking pics with diners. :)
There's always room for dessert. :D
Ice chocolate with Hello Kitty marshmallows. :)
A bowl of red bean soup with matcha for mummy. :)
While Beanie enjoyed his cuppa. :D
Beanie wasn't the only guy in this cutesy cafe. :))) We spotted a very senior couple too. :)
So don't be embarrassed and enjoy the Hello Kitty experience! :D The food is worth coming back for. ;)
These aren't Hello Kitty related but cute nonetheless. :D We spotted them at one of the shops while leaving the area. :)
More hamani for the rest of the day...
