Day 4: Black-Headed Gulls at Green Lake (翠湖公园)

During winter, black-headed gulls from Siberia will flock to Green Lake. We were hoping to catch a glimpse of them while we were in Kunming. :)

I heart the swaying willows & pink plum blossoms. :)

If you're in the mood to feed these gulls, you may do so by buying the feed from any of the bird feed kiosks scattered around the park. The birds aren't shy. They will flock to you at the sight of food. :)

The black-headed gulls population is quite huge! :O Ann steered clear... :)))

Green Lake is not only a place for black-headed gulls to gather. It's a place where friends come together for small chats too. :)

Folks come to Green Lake for morning workouts, :)
& waltz... :)

Oh, here's a pic of Green Lake's main entrance. :) It was a slow Wednesday morning for us. :)
