First Peking Duck Stop - Da Dong Roast Duck (北京大董烤鸭店)

Looking at these accolades heighten our dinner expectations. :) Our first Peking duck "feast" is at Da Dong Roast Duck Restaurant. 

Browsing through a menu loaded with beautiful photos of the restaurant's dishes. :) Everything looked fancy.

A little duck for just the two of us. :)

The first few slices were to be eaten with sugar. :)

Followed by the full works. :)

 The condiments 

We could either use these sheets to wrap the duck slices and condiments :)

or stuff them in these puffs. :)

While the duck is gluten free, we weren't sure about the wraps & the puffs. I ate them all anyway. ;)

The cabbage stew was comforting. :)

We completed our duck "feast" with duck vermicelli. :)

I wasn't not blown away by Da Dong's Peking duck. I found the duck too oily for my liking and it got too much for the both of us towards the end. I was pretty sure there would be better ones somewhere else. :)))
