Day 2: Fill Our Bellies :D

We hiked, we shopped. Now we eat. :))) Kwai Kee Claypot Rice is a must eat for me whenever we are Hong Kong. :) Such a joy to be pigging out here with Charlotte, Lydia & Yahui. :)))

The place was packed with snaking queue even at 9pm. :O

What's good for such chilly weather? Robust pork bone soup:D
But it takes such a long time to boil. :(

Charlotte and I were commenting how barbaric it was to chew on bones...and here we are, doing just that. :)))

My all time fav is the salted fish pork patty claypot rice :)

Pork rib claypot rice coming up :D

Soy chicken claypot rice :)

What??? We missed out ordering the preserved sausage claypot rice and the restaurant refused to add in an additional item. :((( Sad. Gotta wait till our next visit. :(

Kim managed to join us after her dinner with Uncle Mike. :D

Dinner doesn't feel complete without dessert. At 10ish pm, we could only head to the nearest dessert store... Yuen Kee Dessert for traditional good old stuff. Yuen Kee Dessert store has been around since 1855! :O

Our first taste of black sesame paste was wow...it was so smooth and ain't too sweet. :)

Red bean soup with hard boiled egg...scratched heads...interesting combination, The red bean soup was yum while the egg was just an egg?? :)

Walnut paste for Kim. :)

And steamed egg cake to share! :D

Happy & contented! What a remarkable day 2 in Hong Kong! :D
