Day 2: Eating Through El Born :D

El Born, Barcelona's liveliest neighbourhood houses trendy cafes and restaurants. The foodie in us gotta check it out eh? :)))

One of our all time favorite pastries will have to be croissants. :) We heart the buttery, flaky texture. :) Lin has heard so much positive reviews about Hofmann's croissants and so here we are. ;)

It's not a big shop but the variety of yums is enough to satisfy the most picky palate. :)))

There we have it. Buttery, flaky croissants for our mid morning snack. :D

We need coffee to go with our croissants! Now Cafes el Magnifico serves possibly the best cuppa in Barcelona. :D Eh-hem...I don't take coffee but tripadvisors said so. :)))

Cafes el Magnificio is a small outfit and does not have any seating capacity. But we "found" small benches just outside the store. :D

We learn to slow down while we are here. :)))

Beanie waited outside while we checked out Basilica of Santa Maria del Mar. :)))

This is probably Beanie's fav shop. :)))

He was very excited to have his belt customized. :)

Oops we didn't tak a pic of the finished product. But Beanie is one satisfied and happy customer. :D
Off to our next destination...lunch! :)

Burgers for lunch today! :D Yay or nay?

Ice tea is perfect for such sunny day. :D

Isn't this Bacoa burger postcard yummilicious? :)))

Hehehehhe....our burgers & wedges :D

Nom away..... ;)

We are beat but since we are already in El Born area, we checked out Parc de la Ciutadella too.

Now who doesn't love bubbles? The kids in us stood there for quite a while. :)))

Heading back to rest. The heat zapped our energy away... *.*
