Day 5: Ceaseless Learning in London :)

Such a pity we didn't get to do brunch at Sketch! I would have love to! *.* Besides having gorgeous interior, Sketch is a 2 Michelin stars French restaurant.

The installation on level 2's Lecture and Library is by Rebel Rebel. :) It features a gigantic planetarium, filled with traditionally British flora.

The Gallery at sketch has been transformed by David Shrigley as part of a long-term programme of artist-conceived restaurants.

This morning we are also visiting Judith Blacklock. :) She's another British floral designer I like. :)

Judith gave us a demo on an urn centrepiece, using seasonal blooms. :)

Never miss any opportunity to get Judith's books and of course her autograph. ;)

Our tummies are calling out again! :))) Catherine, Shakira and I decided to do lunch at L'eto. :D We didn't research about where to eat at Brompton and thankfully the food was pretty good. :) We were lucky we managed to get a table too as the restaurant had to turn some customers away.

Love it when there are people to share food with. It means we get to try alot more. :D

This porcini mushroom risotto makes a good comfort food. :)

Crayfish & prawn tortellini  was nice too. :)

Because the gals needed meat, we ordered a beef lasagna. :)

L'eto's cakes selection is incredible. One needs to be focus here. :)))

And our ultimate choice? :)

8 years ago, I was here at the V&A for the Freedom to Create Prize. The prize recognised artists from around the world who used their artworks to raise awareness to various human rights and social issues. The artworks and content were mind blowing. Coming back to the V&A again feels surreal...so much memories....

Exhibits that caught my eyes. :)

And these appeals to Shakira. :D

And of course some shopping at the V&A. :D

Next stop...to the Conran Shop at Chelsea. :)

So much for window shopping. We did do some hands on stuff today. But first a quick dinner at the Japanese Canteen at Paradise Row.

I opted for Sichuan Pork Belly ramen. :)

Shakira chose vegetable and tofu ramen. :D

And kimchi to go with our ramen. :)

This evening, we are at McQueens for a masterclass workshop! :D

All the action at McQueens! :)

We are going to create McQueens bouquet, Stella and these are the flowers we will be using. :)

And now our turn to create our own Stella. :D

And my completed Stella. :)

It feels good to be working with some flowers today! :D That's my Day 5 in London. ;)
