Day 2: Have a Break, Have a Wu Fang Zhai Dumpling (五芳斋粽子)

Day 2, well rested at Vicky's place and ready for our 4 hour drive to Hangzhou and another 4 hour drive to Huangshan. :)

Wu Fang Zhai Dumplings (五芳斋粽子) can be found at every rest stop. Our chauffeur suggested we try some dumplings as this shop is Jiangnan's dumpling king (江南粽子大王). And so we did. :)))

The dumplings came with different stuffing and we opted for the chauffeur's fav which was ham with salted eggs.

Verdict: It's definitely not as greasy as the other dumplings we had before. However we felt it wasn't flavorful enough. Lin & I like our dumplings with lots of ingredients: a little fatty meat, mushrooms, peanuts, dried shrimps, quail egg and salted eggs.
