Day 1 - Nagoya: Yoohoo! Our Very Own Dessert Plates :)

Lin signed us up for ceramic painting session at Noritake Garden. :)

Painting on ceramic is totally new to us.

We could choose to paint on either plates or mugs.

We could also choose to create our own patterns to paint or opt for a few ready patterns to do so.

Without our thinking caps, opting for ready patterns to paint seemed the easiest way out for us.

Challenge 1: We do not know the actual color we are painting on the ceramic. The color of the paint changes after it's being heated in the kiln.
Challenge 2: We do not know how much water & glue to add to the paint
Challenge 3: Painting while in La La Land... :)))

Mom & Lin at work! :)

My dessert plate, done in a sleepy state. *.* I wonder how the final work would look like after it's being sent to the kiln and deliver back home to Singapore.

For now, give me my bed & pillow please...
