Day 2 - Takayama: Something Hot & Cold at a 110 Years Old Soba Shop

We made our way to Ebisu Honten for traditional handmade soba. This soba shop boasts a history of 110 years old! :O

A very nostalgic shop with awesome service. :)

Even though the recommended dish is cold soba with tempura, I prefer a hot soupy bowl on such a snowy day. :)

Lin went ahead with the recommendation of cold soba and tempura :)

The chef's pride in his soba was evident as he popped out to guide us on savouring his noodles.

Final broth which we added to the remaining soup after we finished eating the noodles. :)
