Day 1: Jia Jia Tang Bao (佳家汤包) - Good But Not Spectacular XLBs

Because it received so many raving reviews, we decided to give Jia Jia Tang Bao a try.

Even though there wasn't a crowd, we had to wait quite a while for our dumplings.

We just got off a red-eyed flight & the XLBs wait just made Tina, Ann, Lin & I even "stoner". Only Vicky was chirpy on a Tuesday morning. :)))

Hm...their expressions said it all. Period.

Xiao long bao with crab meat & roe stuffings. You need to eat them while they are hot (otherwise they can be a little fishy).

The dumplings are good but not spectacular. We find the skin a tad thick. I don't think we will be coming back for more.
