Day 3: Into the Maddening Crowd at East Wuzhen

This morning, we checked out east Wuzhen. Unlike west Wuzhen which has been restored, east Wuzhen remains in its original state.

Throngs of local Chinese tourists greeted us with tour guides blaring into their loud speakers. *.*

Taking photos of the locals & their trade was a little tricky as some weren't happy with tourists snapping their cameras away. Sensitivity needed to be exercised here. ;)

All the souvenirs shops were selling the same stuff. You see one, you see all. It got boring after a while.

Silk handkies were so cheap here. :)

Our final choice for grandmom. :)

Tina & I checked out some locally made moisturiser. :)

Lin & Tina tried out the bean paste pastry which Vicky raved about. In the end they gave the whole box to a cleaner.

We tried veering off from the maddening crowd.

We were out of east Wuzhen in less than 2 hours! :)))

A much needed icy respite for Tina. :D
