Celebrating Another Year of Blessings

Our birthday falls on the 10th day of the lunar new year. Lin and I decided to celebrate it on the 3rd day of lunar new year with our doting cousins as it was still a public holiday. :D

I wanted something al fresco. ;) So we decided to do a DIY sushi garden party. :))) Venue? Our little garden. Praise God for the lovely weather. :) Our flowers were in full bloom too.

It's amazing our garden is able to accomodate 11 people. :) Have a peep at our spread. ;)

With these ingredients, we created fabulous sushi and handrolls. :D Yahui was the master sushi chef. Charlotte & Shawn were her capable assistants. ;)

Of course there were some food that could be eaten right away without much effort. ;)

Everyone had an awesome time making their own sushi. Koka enjoyed herself as well. :D

Our mom, dad, cousins, grandmom, aunts & uncles are very important people in our lives. :) Lin and I thank God for blessing us with them.  They support us in whatever we do and aspire to be. :) When we have a bad day, we know that we have a loving home to return to. :D That's family for us. ;) While some cringe at the thought of growing a year older, Lin and I praise God for another year of blessings.
