Crab Overload : O

Ivy loves crab noodle & so we took her to Mellben Seafood which is famous for it. :) Lin & I have been eating crabs this week and we are crab overload. : ( We're gonna abstain from crabs for at least a month. *.*

Lin called yesterday morning to make a reservation but it was fully booked. And it was a Wednesday??? We went there anyway to try our luck! :D Surprise surprise surprise! :) Managed to get a table without much waiting.  We were of course very pleased. :)))

The waitress gave us a little ticket which advised us on the waiting time. We were stumped...Lol! :)))

And when we saw the Dou Miao & mini buns, we were ecstatic! :D It meant we have additional stuff to munch other than peanuts...

Next up was deep fried scallops atop yam cups. We don't like this dish...I prefer having scallops on its own...

We weren't impressed by the salted egg pork ribs either. We prefer salted egg prawns. Nevertheless, I must say the pork rib's real tender... :)

The crabs lifted our spirit. ^.* Butter custard crab. The crab was huge, fleshy & fresh! It would have been better if there was more butter. But we figured later that if it's too buttery, it will kill our appetite for more crabs, :)

And the main attraction of the dinner? Crab noodles! :D We love the crab & the broth. Awesome! :D

The three of us were silent when tackling the crabs. Full concentration was required! hahahaha :)))

For our next visit to Mellben Seafood, we will only have crabs, nothing but crabs. ^.*
