Fuchun Resort 富春山居

The highlight of last week vacation was to check out Fuchun Resort in Hangzhou. We have heard so much positive review on it, we gotta experience it ourselves. :) So off we go to Hangzhou via the bullet train. :) Woohoo!

Lin arranged for the resort's meet & greet service at the train station in Hangzhou. The ride was a pleasant one as we were awed by the season of 油菜花! We didn't include the viewing of 油菜花 in our itineary. I'm so gonna ask Lin to return next April to view these gorgeous glorious blooms! *.*

May we introduce to you Fuchun Resort. :)

We love the lush & flowy green driveway. It calmed all our senses... : O

As you stepped into the lobby, a corridor of huge pillars awaits you. We felt we were in some Chinese epic movie... :)

We booked the superior deluxe lake view room & was upgraded to a lake view suite. Awesome! Lin & I are always blessed with room upgrades. :))) When we were in Jumeriah London, we were upgraded to a suite too (I'll blog on that later).

Love love love! We love the room! :D

Here's a peep of our room. :)

We love the spacious bathroom & Molten Brown toiletries. ^.* The bath tub overlooks the lake. And of course we did set time for dip a tub tub. :)))

We love the female & male tags for the bath robes. They are differentiated by hats worn by Qing dynasty royalty & officials. :)

After checking in, we headed to Asian Corner for lunch.

Lin suggested we tried Hangzhou's specialities - long jin tea shrimps & sweet & sour fish.

The long jin tea shrimps has a nice subtle after-taste of long jin tea. Like it, like it! I can give the fish a pass though. We're not into strong flavoured food.

The vegetarian fried rice was yummy. It consisted of finely chopped veg & mushrooms.

As soon as we were well rested, we went for our swim. It was as if we have booked the whole place. There were only two of us at the waveless (not sure what it meant) pool! :D

Before we entered the pool, we are required to wash our feet! :D Don't you find the wooden tub and scoop kind of cute? :)

The next morning, we woke up really early to catch a glimpse of the dewy morning scenary. We took a boat to the resort's club and did brekkie at T8.

There were cherry blossoms in the restaurant. ^.* Pretty!

T8's breakfast serving was huge. Fortunately we only ordered a set of beef noodles. It came with braised egg, condiments & a basket of twisted bun & pork bun. :)

One thing not to be missed at Fuchun Resort is the spa. We opted for detox massage. Ooooh, we really needed it. Our bodies were sore from carrying heavy vases of blooms...

As our vacation was short, we could only stay at Fuchun Resort for a night. But we'll definitely be coming again soon. Next time round with mom & beanie! ^.*
