Grocery Shopping at Jiu Guang Sogo Department Store 久光百货

Jiu Guang Sogo Department Store 久光百货 is one of our fav grocery shopping place. :) The supermarket at the basement is one which we need to drop by every time we're in Shanghai because it sells grandmom's fav peanut crunch candies.  :)

Side tracked a little, I'm amused Shanghai can be so pretty! (above pic). Lol! :)))

The brand of peanut crunch Grandmom likes is xin jia zhuang 杏家莊. They have other varieties of traditional candies too such as black sesame crunch, five nuts crunch etc. :) I always wonder how grandmom's able to take such hard candies, but in fact it's not hard. It's crunchy! Grandmom keeps her fav snacks in her room and ration it among our aunts (she eats most of them). Lol! :)))

It doesn't make much sense to just get a bottle, so we grabbed a few! :D
