Who doesn't love the sound of music? :) The first place we visited in Otaru was the Music Box Museum. :) They have music boxes in different shapes, sizes & characters. :D Some sounded good and "tasted" yummy too!
The PLUS point of F&E trip is the luxury of time. Lin and I visited the museum with our cousin, Kenneth & his wifey, Adelene some time back. We followed a package tour and did not have time to view some of the exhibits and performances. We're glad we were able to do so now. :D The museum has two halls. So do visit both if time permits!
We gained an insight into the evolution of music boxes on the second level of the main hall. :)
Afterwhich we adjourned to the second hall across the road for a short musical performance. :)
There's Japanese guided tour which wasn't too informative for those who can't speak the language like myself. But there's always English write up next to the exhibits. ;)
Everyone had a great time picking up pretty pieces. :)
