We checked out Nijo Market. :) It's where locals and tourists shop for fresh local produce & seafood such as crabs, salmon eggs, sea urchin, and various fresh & prepared fish. I'm not sure if it was due to the time of the day we went, the place wasn't vibrant. We much prefer Tsujiki Market in Tokyo. :)
If we were coming back to Singapore straight away, we might have packed some seafood home for dinner. ;)
Some of this season's fresh produce. Beanie was very tempted to buy the melons. Fortunately he didn't. We didn't have enough luggage space to carry a melon. Lol! :)))
