Day 6: A Day of Exploration & Discovery - Taking the Train

My brain was in the freezer from day 6 onwards. I just followed Lin & Xueyi. Lol! :)))

The Osaka train lines are complicated without any English name for each station... We were in Honmachi Station and needed to take a train to Shin-Osaka Station, and from there take the JR West Kyoto Line to go to Kyoto Station. At Kyoto Station, we needed to take the Karasuma Line to Marutamachi Station. *.*

Salute to Xueyi! She's a Public Transport Queen! ^.* She's very quick at reading maps & train lines. Oh well, if she could travel to Russia etc on her own, this is chicken feet. Hhahahhha...

It's a day of exploration & discovery. Wendy and Lin tried to figure out the train's ticketing system...

We got onto the train to Kyoto...

but we still had lots of figuring out to do... :)))

I was awed by the glassy Kyoto Station! Magnificient lighting... :O

Unfortunately I wasn't give any time to take more pics and we were on the next train to Marutamachi Station...
